Waldron and Sarah Jane Miller.1,2 He married Mary Sophia Melton, daughter of William Melton and Sophia Perry, on 12 Nov 1871 at New York City, New York.1 Joseph D. Waldron married Helen F. Arnold, daughter of George Arnold and Mary Tucker, on 28 Mar 1880 at Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.2,9 Joseph D. Waldron died on 15 Nov 1893 at Kings County Insane Asylum, Flatbush, Kings County, New York, (married).10 He was buried on 19 Nov 1893 at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, Lot No. 5633, Section 85 (also interred in this lot is his second wife Helen F. Waldron, 03 Apr 1912).11
     He resided with Charles A. Waldron and Sarah Jane Miller in Ward 8 District 1, New York City, New York, in 1850.12 Joseph D. Waldron lived with Charles A. Waldron and Sarah Jane Miller in 1855 at the 11th Ward, 4th District, New York City, New York County, New York.13 Joseph D. Waldron and Charles A. Waldron Jr. lived with the family of J M M and Pheba Ikenbury, at Camden, Monroe County, Indiana, in 1860.14 Joseph D. Waldron began military service on 15 Aug 1862 at Delphi, Carroll County, Indiana, ; Company K, 72nd Regiment, Indiana Volunteer Infantry.15,16 He ended military service on 24 Jul 1865 at Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.16 Joseph was employed as a market man at New York City, New York County, New York, in Jul 1870.17 He resided with Charles A. Waldron and Sarah Jane Miller in Ward 13 District 5, New York City, New York County, New York, in 1870.17 He was a witness at Thomas M. McDonell and Sarah E. Waldron's wedding on 21 Aug 1870 at New York City, New York County, New York. The second witness was Mary Potter.18 Joseph was employed as a carman in 1871.1 He lived in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, in 1871. Joseph's occupation was as a "carman."1 He and Helen F. Arnold lived in Ward 5, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, with Ellen's brother James Arnold, age 48, clerk in 1892. Joseph worked as a driver.19 Joseph was employed as a truck driver until 1893.10,19
