Joseph D. Waldron was born a 1844 at New York County, New York.3,4,5,6,7,8 He was the son of Charles A. Waldron and Sarah Jane Miller.1,2 He married Mary Sophia Melton, daughter of William Melton and Sophia Perry, on 12 Nov 1871 at New York City, New York.1 Joseph D. Waldron married Helen F. Arnold, daughter of George Arnold and Mary Tucker, on 28 Mar 1880 at Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.2,9 Joseph D. Waldron died on 15 Nov 1893 at Kings County Insane Asylum, Flatbush, Kings County, New York, (married).10 He was buried on 19 Nov 1893 at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, Lot No. 5633, Section 85 (also interred in this lot is his second wife Helen F. Waldron, 03 Apr 1912).11
