(int. rec. Nov 29 in Dracut and Dec. 14 in Methuen). Abner was from Methuen.2,3,4 Martha Gilcreast died on 28 Oct 1847 at age 75 (prob.).5 She was buried at Village Burying Ground, Methuen, Essex County, Massachusetts.5

Alice Gilcreast died on 9 May 1848 at age 72, a widow.2 She was buried at Varnum Burying Ground, E. Dracut, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2

David Gilcreast married Sarah Davis on 14 Feb 1805 at Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.2 David Gilcreast died in Apr 1859 at age 77.3 He was buried at Valley Cemetery, Pillsbury Rd., Londonderry, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.3

     John Gilcreast was born a 1720.1 He died bt 1767 - 1768 On 13 April 1768 spinster Mary Gilchrist, of Dracut, sold her share of her father's estate to John Gilchrist.1
     On 23 Jan 1748 John Gilchrist, a laborer from Methuen, purchased 105 acres of land in nearby Dracut from Daniel McClery for 85 pounds.1

He married Miriam Butler, daughter of Caleb Butler and Rebecca Frost, in Sep 1793 at Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.4,5,6 John Cutter died on 26 Apr 1842 at Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, at age 75.5,6

     Caleb Butler was born on 25 Jul 1741 at Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Samuel Butler and Mary Wright.1 He married Rebecca Frost, daughter of Benjamin Frost and Miriam Rust, in 1766.1,5,2 Caleb Butler died on 8 Sep 1813 at age 72.2,3,6
     He served in the Revolutionary War as a civil officer in the town of Pelham New Hampshire. He is listed as one of the town's Selectmen in a petition to the Committee of Safety, dated 10 July 1779.3

Richard Cutter was baptized on 27 Mar 1726.2 He married Kezia Pierce, daughter of James Pierce and Phebe (?), on 3 Jul 1747 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.6,7,5,4,8 He married, second, Ruth Hadley a 1788. She was the daughter of Parrott and Mary (Heath) Hadley, whose family originated in Amesbury, Mass.9,5 Richard Cutter died on 8 Apr 1795 at Nottingham West (now Hudson), Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, at age 69.10,11,5,12 He was buried at Hudson, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire,

     He moved to Nottingham West (now Hudson), Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, a 1770. They settled on the banks of the Matarnac Brook, east of the Taylor's Falls Bridge.10 In 1775 he served one month at Boston in Captain Elisha Woodbury's Company, Col. John Stark's Regiment, as a substitute for his son, Seth, who was home on furlough. He fought at Bunker Hill.10,4 Richard served in the Revolution as a private from New Hampshire. (Families of Boston & Eastern Mass; p. 107).5
