     He were appointed to handle Robert Hope's estate on 28 Feb 1775 at Chester County, Pennsylvania.2 He made a will on 9 Nov 1793 at West Caln, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The will provided:
"Robert Withrow, township of W. Caln; will proved May 21, 1794 viz:-
To daughter Hannah Hope £35 (1/2 to be paid in 1 year-remainder in 3 years)
To daughter Mary Mcllellen £35 (same conditions as for Hannah)
